The Eh! Team Mysteries are cozy-adjacent Canadian mysteries set in Erie Bluff, where loyalty complicates justice and the truth is rarely tidy.
Her Final Toast (Eh! Team Mysteries Book 1)
One dead critic. One innocent man. And twenty-eight hours to uncover the truth.
When caustic wine reviewer Trixie Thorne drops dead at Erie Bluff’s inaugural wine festival, police zero in on George Fenn, a gentle, mushroom-obsessed introvert with a grudge — and the wrong fungi. It’s a tidy case. Too tidy for the locals who actually know him.
As the system stumbles, Piper Merriwether — a guarded civilian crime analyst new to town — teams up with her no-nonsense aunt, Dottie Stratton, and a young constable with more heart than experience. Together, they start asking the questions no one else will.
With just over a day before George is remanded — and chewed up by the process — the trio digs past gossip, vineyard rivalries and careful small-town façades. What they find isn’t neat, simple, or convenient… but it’s the truth.
Because in Erie Bluff, one death can unearth a generation of secrets.
The first heart-warming mystery in the Eh! Team series.
